Building Cultural Bridges: Celebrating Connections between Seattle and Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Join the Seattle-Tashkent Sister City Association (STSCA) to celebrate its pivotal role in building connections between the people of Seattle and Tashkent, Uzbekistan! Longtime past President Dan Peterson will present on the book he wrote about the organization's history in honor of its 50th anniversary in 2023. Copies of the book will be available for sale, and Dan will personally autograph all books purchased on site.
You'll also get to enjoy tea and snacks, a display of colorful Uzbek clothing and textiles, and a performance of festive Uzbek dance.
