DIY Green Cleaning
Join Kellee Byard, Sustainable Communities Program Coordinator at the WSU Snohomish County Extension, to learn how to make environmentally friendly cleaning supplies from simple household ingredients.
The workshop will include a presentation on household hazardous waste and the benefits of making your own cleaning supplies, with a booklet with over a dozen recipes with instructions for you to keep. Kellee will demo a product or two from the booklet, then you will have a chance to make your own cleaner.
You will receive the Green Cleaning Recipe Booklet as an email attachment a week before the event, so that you may acquire the necessary ingredients if desired.
The content of this program is appropriate for anybody 13 and older.
