on July 8, 2026, 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Event actions

Event description

Get a jump on the summer crabbing season with our local expert, Tom Eisenberg. Learn responsible crabbing techniques, species identification, information about licensing and seasons, and delicious cooking methods.

After his working years at marine facilities, Tom volunteered with Friends of Camano Island Parks, the Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach, and loves to fish and crab with his wife. Over the years he has caught crabs using handlines, rings, traps, etc. from boats, canoes, and wading, and is always willing to share his knowledge.

Select one of two dates to attend--June 27 or July 8--the material presented will be the same on both days.
