When Fashion "Met" Art
In recognition of the 2026 Met Gala theme and dress code "Costume Art" and "Fashion is Art", join Annette Becker of the Texas Fashion Collection at UNT to learn how art and fashion have intersected throughout history.
We will examine art's influence on fashion and vice versa, learn about the role art and history play in modern fashion design, check out some of the unique pieces in the Texas Fashion Collection and gain insight into what it is like to work in a university fashion program.
