Event description

Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Michelle Wilde for an exciting journey into life aboard the International Space Station (ISS)!

Discover the fascinating history of the ISS and how it became one of humanity’s greatest engineering achievements. Explore the science happening in orbit as we look at real laboratories and experiments conducted in microgravity. Learn how astronauts prepare their food, stay healthy, and adapt to living in space for months at a time. We’ll also enjoy a showcase of spectacular images captured from the ISS, including breathtaking views of Earth from 250 miles above the surface.

This program offers a fun and educational look at what it’s really like to live and work among the stars.

The NASA Solar System Ambassadors program is a global network of over 1,200 dedicated volunteers who share NASA’s latest discoveries and missions through public presentations and outreach. These passionate educators help inspire curiosity and deepen understanding of space exploration in communities around the world.

Prizes and handouts for attendees. Recommended for ages 10 and above.
