Are You Ready for This Winter's Weather?
Each winter season has a different variety of significant weather. What will this winter offer?
Former National Weather Service Meteorologist Ted Buehner will provide the latest winter weather outlook, address the different kinds of winter weather the North Sound can experience, and what kind of weather hazards may arise this winter. This presentation will help you be better prepared for whatever winter brings.
Ted Buehner worked with the National Weather Service for over 40 years. Today, he is an instructor with the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center, on air at KIRO-FM, KRKO, and KXA Radio, and writes stories for mynorthwest.com and everettpost.com. His Weather Minute Podcast is on the everettpost.com weather page. He also volunteers with the Red Cross, Emergency Management Group - Washington, and is an amateur radio operator.
