Event actions

Event description

Learn about a time when explorers from around the world relied on Tall Ships for exploration, trade and cultural exchange and how these Tall Ships connected Whidbey Island to global markets.

Presenter Garry Heinrich worked for over a decade as a Tall Ships captain up and down the West coast, including on the Irving Johnson, a 110-foot brigantine, a traditionally rigged wooden replica of a merchant ship from the Age of Exploration.
