Mural Presentation and Workshop

on February 6, 2026, 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Event description

The Lakewood/Smokey Point Library will soon be home to a new mural provided by Urban Artworks! This is a non-profit organization "whose mission is to engage youth, artist, and communities in the creation of public art that inspires connections and honors their voices."

Please join us in unveiling the new mural! One of the teaching artists on this project, Natalia Sotelo, will provide a workshop for community members to learn about the mural creation process. There will be an opportunity to add a small contribution to the mural.

Suitable for ages 11 and up. Registration preferred.
