Join us on the first Tuesday of the month for book discussion & socializing. For the October 6th meeting, we will read Thank You for Arguing by Jay Heinrichs.
A master class in the art of persuasion, as taught by professors ranging from Bart Simpson to Winston Churchill. A humorous, cheerful, and accessible book on the art of rhetoric, mixing personal anecdotes with tools and techniques used by figures throughout history and pop culture to help readers recognize and use persuasion themselves.
Copies of the book will be available at the Darrington Library during the month of September on a first come, first served basis.
