Event description

The Power of Intention at the Intersection of Art & Writing

Designed for participant’s individualized expression through mindful reflection using the teacher's guided & uniquely created art modality of combining images with words to navigate and release emotions, stress, anxiety, trauma and/or personal challenges while visually bringing forth renewed changes and desired outcomes.

Discover your layers through both hidden, revealed and personally-embellished art in this intuitive and process based approach to art making. Class incorporates movement, guided meditation and time for optional & confidential sharing at the end.

All Levels: Beginning to advanced Artists, Writers, & Internal Explorers!

Facilitated by Gaylynn Beuthien, Local Artist and Teacher with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Master's in Education, WA State Endorsed Art Teacher, Meditation & Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner, Art with Heart Facilitator, and PESI Art Therapy Training.

Materials provided for basic two dimensional work or bring your chosen favorites for 2D or 3D creations.

Offered the last Wednesday of each month with changing themes.

Registration opens at the beginning of each month and can be accessed through the event Registration Required link to SCAACwa.org/classes (at right) to hold your spot in this popular class!
