on April 9, 2025, 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Online event

Event description

Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of the month for a fun, friendly discussion of diverse selections of historical fiction titles. Meet new friends, enjoy a love of books, or share a recent read from the comfort of your own space. This month we will be discussing Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.

The fates of two half-sisters and their descendants unfold across three hundred years. From the Gold Coast of Africa to the plantations of the American South, each generation’s story is a poignant reflection of resilience, identity, and the enduring impact of slavery.
