Wonderful book dealing with Alzihimers disease and living in a long term care home. This story deals with early onset Alzheimer's in two of the residents. The author also shows the personality of the elderly residents in the home. Some seem grumpy, or withdrawn but their personality is drawn out by the seven year old daughter of the cook-housekeeper. Each of the characters in the story have a story of their own. This book has laugh-out-loud funny passages, deep emotions dealing with loss, in health as well as personal death. Two love stories as well as dealing with intolerance and cruelty and how mean children can be. You can also understand where children get their ideas of intolerance from. They are not born that way!
