A practical, user-friendly book, this book has beautiful pictures, illustrations, and drawings on every page to make it more explanatory, and nice. It spotlights why it is necessary to save seeds: to keep the seed species alive (keeping them from becoming extinct), to furnish food sources for the local community, and growing one’s own food usually is economical, plus, yields food that is higher in nutrition. It also gives names/locations of international seed banks, provides details on how to have a seed swap and how to start a seed bank. This book gives a wonderful, ABC approach to seed saving. A good starter book!
