I love historical fiction and this book fit the bill. I learned a lot about coaching Inn's and their importance in their time. I loved that the heroine quit having a pity party when her husband died. She got up and started working to succeed, not just for herself, but for the benefit of her community. Loss and sorrow were used to build her character. A pleasant read but also many things to think about how we handle loss and trouble. Excellent.
