As soon as I had finished the first book, Defy I knew I was in for a roller coaster when I would start to read book number two in the series. Defy had wrapped up things pretty nicely, so I was excited as to what would happen in Alexa’s life next. Not even a day later I had borrowed Ignite from the library and began to read. The story line was simply fascinating, there was a lot of eye-catching things like kidnappings, deceit and of course romance. One of the things that really frustrated me though was how Alexa kept denying her love for Damian when in fact, she was madly in love with him. The only thing that was keeping her from marrying him (in the beginning) was how she thought of herself. But, I will admit that when she finally did accept her feelings and told Damian about them, I was ecstatic. Sara B. Larson really did keep her readers in suspense with that one aspect of the story. Although the book is frustrating at time and will make you want to kill some of the characters (out of hatred), I do admit this is a fantastic read.  - @Pixin of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
