Hercule Poirot does it again. I picked this one up as part of my reading of the eight mysteries spoiled in Eight Perfect Murders by Peter Swanson before I read it. This one, told from the perspective of Hastings was interesting and, from what I remember of Agatha Christie, a departure from her normal writing style, but honestly, I'm not sure about that. I did like most of the characters depicted but would have liked a few of them to be a little more fleshed out. Hastings and Poirot's banter was fantastic, it had me smiling quite often. I think I'm going to have to make it a goal of mine (over my lifetime) to read all of her works, we'll see. It was intriguing and I didn't guess the ending so always a plus for mysteries. I would recommend.
