Being Jazz

My Life as a (transgender) Teen
Jun 12, 2017PinesandPrejudice rated this title 3 out of 5 stars
This was an honest read -- almost too honest. I say that being I liked learned about Jazz's journey, transitioning, growing up, her family's advocacy, and her life in the spotlight. I found I did not need to hear about how embarrassed she was when she farted twice on a "date" with a boy or her first weird make-out sessions. However, I can't fault it too much because what else are you supposed to write a memoir about when you're only sixteen? And for a sixteen year old she has had quite a life so far. It will be awesome to see how she progresses and grows in the next ten, twenty years.
