Stan Tatkin has a wealth of knowledge from many years of study and research, and more importantly, in counselling couples. He takes complex ideas and makes them easy to understand. He presents a simplified version of how our brains are wired for self-preservation and how we can relax that vigilance within a secure relationship. He helps us understand who we are and how we came to be that way, how couple relationships can falter or succeed, how we can build our best relationship.
Highly recommended!

Hang in there and very carefully listen to all 6 discs: disc #6 is the best and tells you why you are in a relationship in the first place, why it's important for your survival, and how you can stop expecting your partner to be the "one" and start acting like the one yourself. Be kind, honor your commitment. It's a beautiful message in this mixed up world of too much choice and unforgiveness.
