Illustrated with the haunting illustrations of the Dillons, this picture book version of the titular story in the anthology graced under the same name has all new drawings as well as a breathtaking cover painting. The book also features endpapers of black with black feathers embossed on them. It’s a stunning addition and has to be seen to be truly appreciated.

This book is worth getting. It’s a handsome companion to the folktale compilation.
