Mia Medina has finally found the perfect subject for her PhD thesis film on Alzheimer's. For the next several months, cameras will record the everyday life of mother Deborah and her daughter Sarah. But as the days progress, strange things begin to happen around Deborah that are not consistent with any findings about Alzheimer's. It becomes apparent that there is something that has taken control of Deborah's life. It's an evil that is far worse than of the disease that she was first diagnosed.

This movie is actually one of the only horror movies in recent years that has been able to genuinely scare me. Mia decides to record Deborah and her daughter Sarah for her university thesis, until she begins noticing that strange things keep happening to Deborah that are entirely out of this world. What really got me about this movie is how unexpected many things were, and how the special effects really managed to make things scary. I would rate this movie 4.5/5 stars for it’s thrill factor alone, and would recommend it to those who like horror movies that will genuinely scare you. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Great voice and his "Wrecking Ball" song is nothing like Mylie's.

This is an effective scary movie, yes, but more than that it's a pretty heartbreaking examination of what Alzheimers does to a sufferer and their loved ones. Great performances by Jill Larson and Anne Ramsey.
