This is a very quick read--maybe a half hour or less. I think anyone who has ever loved a good dog (is there any other kind?) will relate to it. There are wonderful photos of dogs throughout the book.
This is a sweet story about a family and an old beloved dog. As a dog owner myself I can relate to losing a pet to old age
I have had five dogs in the past and only one died naturally.
I also enjoyed all the photos in the book.
It is a short book.
Agree with the other comments: this is an essay, not a book. Nevertheless, it is an excellent essay, most enjoyable and thought-provoking.
Short essay about dogs and what they bring to our lives, focussing on Quindlen's family including her beloved dog Beau. Poignant and lovely.
Sweet , Anna - also, as realistic ,and purposeful as anything you've written
I liked this book except for the fact that it cost $22 and took me 18 minutes to read. Even if it was excellent, that is a rip off. It is actually more like an essay and probably was only made into a book because of the success of "Marley and Me".
