I thoroughly enjoyed the history of Westeros and the family lines, but at some point it just started to get tiresome without any pretense of a plot. Could be a great companion read for fans. The reader of this audiobook is the same for most of the Song of Ice and Fire audiobooks, so the narration has continuity and quality. I did checkout the eBook as well to see some of the pictures, which I very much enjoyed. Definitely the type of book I'd prefer to flip through and read a page here and there rather than listening continuously in a linear fashion.
