A great book to flip through for ideas and potential rather than for projects. Lots of beautiful photos to fire up your creativity for improv piecing and scrappy let's-see-what-happens explorations.

There are some good ideas in this book. The coverage of individual quilters and their work is shallower than it would be in a magazine article, but there are a lot of them. Detailed instructions are given for just a handful of the quilts; the point here is more visual inspiration than how-tos. The quilts featured here consist mostly of variations on traditional pieced designs. I would have liked to see more free-form design and experimentation.
