When looking for a vegetarian book I find it almost impossible to come across one that actually has some different recipes. I find book after book the recipes are pretty much all the same. That is not the case with this one. It is filled with incredible, tasty recipes. As a side note, it is also a great book for people looking for side dishes to go with meat.

River Cottage Veg took a simple, fresh yet exciting take on cooking vegetarian. The book includes fantastic color photos and easy to follow instructions. The book kicks off with comfort food which adds to the level of excitement and gets the non-veg's mouth watering. The book also includes great on the go and pantry recipes that are very practical. Not every vegetable is easy to find and make sure you bring your Queens English dictionary because there are times when you are quite sure what he is on about. Recommended for the cook and the cook book reader and even better for veggies and meat eaters alike.

Very good book. I am buying a copy for my library. Taste and inspirational recipes. I recently became vegeterian and this book helps me with ideas of what to cook on a daily basis. Also, love the photographs, a must for me on cookbooks.

The recipes are flavourful and inspiring! The book itself is beautiful and reading the recipes and eating them will make you feel as though you are on a holiday from humdrum salads and soups! Highly recommended.
