Visions of finely planned murderous activities, blood-curdling scenarios and the viciousness of an evil person will permeate your slumber. On the other hand, some may enjoy having a nightmare or two! Dr. Hannibal Lecter was a pussycat compared to the depraved murderous intensity of the evil protagonist in this book. This is not for the squeamish. But, that is why we read these books, because we are not of the same mind, because we want to know what evil men can do, because we are sedate and comfortable in our living rooms reading about genuinely bad people, because we have never had to run for our lives from certain death. The story is compelling, gripping, finely crafted and from the mind of the CSI TV franchise creator. You will get hooked, you will cringe, you will, despite all the wincing, enjoy it and the eventual outcome. And, don't expect the hero to ride out into the sunset. And, when all is done, you'll eagerly anticipate the sequel.
