Reservation made for Sunday! From the food to the wine and tea service to dessert, this place looks like a class act! The only recipe I might try to recreate at home is the Lemon Meringue Tarts.

Lots of good recipes in this book - including some ideas stolen from French cuisine - and you can find most of the ingredients in Ottawa Vietnamese grocery stores. So far, my family liked (1) stir fry green beans, (2)wok charred eggplant (3) Vietnamese chicken salad (4) shrimp and chayotte stirfry (5) shaking beef. Lots of interesting anecdotes by the author about setting up a restaurant in San Francisco, plus many photos. I like books that show a photo of what I'm trying to cook!
