This tantalizing tale posits what may have happened to the famed writer during her real-life 11-day disappearance in 1926. The world doesn't know and Dame Agatha never told.

In 1926 Agatha Christie goes missing for 11 days. It is still a mystery where she went. This is a possible story of just what may have happened. I agree that the music is cloying but oh the cinematography of Vittorio Storaro.
I like this movie a lot, have seen it several times - both actors play against type. The set design and costume design is just so gorgeous. I loved a scene where horses and motor-cars shared the road. It's just a quirky oddity with so much going for it. Glad it was brought back from the brink of forgotten.
Take two great actors - Redgrave and Hoffman - and roll them into one bad movie, with annoying background music - could only get half way through it. This was probably the low point of their careers - for both of them.
interesting to see Vanessa and Dustin so young. a speculative period piece.
