I bought myself a copy, it was that good! This much 'known' Psalm is explored by a modern day shepherd and the depth of meaning tucked away is opened up for us city and town folk. Great read.

This book was an eye opener for me! Not only did it strengthen my understanding of Jesus as our Shepherd but it did so by using plain old sheep as a parallel to human beings. I never realized how fragile and sensitive sheep were. Not only are they a difficult animal to raise and herd, but they absolutely depend on their herder to live, eat, make decisions for them, and just survive. This is how we should see Jesus. He is our Shepherd! We should rely on him for our needs.
