We absolutely loved this very funny law-drama. The characters are convincing and the show doesn't take itself very seriously, but the main actor is just so much fun to watch!

How I love this; an endearing, unendurable character. Roxburgh really sinks his teeth into the role. And what a gamut of virtues and vices, relationships and crimes this show traverses: love, betrayal, loyalty, hate, lust, venality, self-sacrifice, terror, and on and on.
P.S.: Netflix has a version WITH SUBTITLES
P.P.S.: You may notice Dewey Crowe from "Justified" in some scenes (well, the actor).

This is a mildly interesting drama which unfortunately doesn't go well with others. It also lacks subtitles so one can get the Aussie accents.

Australian import which features a hero who's hard to like sometimes. He drinks and snorts coke too much, doesn't pay his taxes, owes the mob, and for good measure sleeps with his best friends wife. Add to this, he's a barrister who defends his hopeless clients and is in love with a former prostitute, and you can see all the fertile story lines mined both for dramatic and comic effect. Will keep you rooting for Cleave to kick his habit, get his client off, and get the girl!

A terrific Australian comedy-drama. Really hope there is a 3rd season.

Unbelievably crude subjects. A waste of time.
