There's power in what we say to one another, and it's especially true when speaking to children. What's said in a moment can have a lasting influence on future life decisions. Will they encourage pursuit of dreams, or dismiss those dreams or even worse, destroy them? Written by the President and CEO of Compassion International, this book brings to mind my own sponsored children Ana and Sheyley, and the potential life changing impact the words in my letters carry. ~Debby

That's why Just A Minute is so pivotal. ....it issues an impassioned plea" to make a difference "in the lives of the children all around you." Singer Rebecca St. James calls it "a treasure of a book and "Full of incredibly moving stories, Wess' writing inspires us all to realize that every interaction with a child has the power to change his or her destiny ... Prepare to be encouraged and moved!" Gary Chapman, author of the #1 New York Times Bestselling "The Five Love Languages" says "Just A Minute" helps us all shape kids who will create healthier families, communities, and countries and helps them "find their special place in the world." Bob Lepine, Co-Host of FamilyLife Today says: "This book is a challenge for every follower of Jesus to take notice of the little ones in our midst, and to show them we love them because He first loved us."
