This book captures the gun as a complex, fascinating combination of form and function -- told, as always, in McIntosh's relaxed, conversational style. The first part is about the art of guns and gun making, and the second section is devoted to the art of shooting.

This is a great all around text about shotguns. If you're new to shotguns, it will be an interesting quick read. A much better book than you would find in a sports store.
