At the beginning of season two of Treme it is fourteen months after Katrina devastated New Orleans. All of the main characters experience personal highs and lows throughout the season while New Orleans is slow to recover. There is much more emphasis put on the musical scene (New Orleans jazz) in season two; however, there is plenty of interesting drama and heartbreak as well.
