Too much coincidence driving the plot. Some anachronisms were present.

I didn't finish this book. Here's why: the characters were completely and totally unlikeable. Matt is a racist, sexist jerk and Eliza's lack of a backbone frustrated me to no end . I couldn't take any more. So I gave up.
