Dr. Strangelove, Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the BombDVD - 2001 | Special ed.
From Library Staff
An insane general triggers a path to nuclear holocaust that a War Room full of politicians and generals frantically tries to stop.
A movie so quotable that even its subtitle occasionally gets invoked as a pop culture reference, some of Dr. Strangelove’s memorable lines include “Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here! This is the war room!” and “Shoot! With the gun! That’s what the bullets are for!”

SummaryAdd a Summary
A masterpiece of Cold War satire, with George C. Scott and Peter Sellers both being awesome and an ending that is totally non traditional and completely unexpected. Stanly Kubrick was a brilliant film maker, and he is in complete control of his craft with this incredibly cast, acted and filmed movie. Iconic in many of its moments, this is a huge awesome bomb dropping cowboy riding example of awesomeness. It is truly a one of a kind movie.
