He'll show how Puget Sound Energy's Home Print Pilot Project helped homeowners save energy and money. Ted Clifton tells how his crew takes and older home and makes it as energy efficient as possible. First they analyze the home to see what steps are the most cost effective over time. They use SIPs, replace old windows, seal leaks and insulate the envelope. On the inside they use CFL or LED lighting, heat pumps and energy star appliance to make the home as efficient as possible. Add solar panels and you could have a net zero energy home"--Container.
