If you appreciate art, jewelry, or claywork, this book is a must-read. Incredibly inspirational and sure to give you ideas for your own work, while being amazed at the fine art possibilities of this unassuming medium. While I loved all the work, especially enjoyed were:

-- exquisite evening bags by Kathleen Dustin (

-- delicious necklaces by Lindy Haunanani (, who co-wrote the excellent "Polymer Clay Color Inspirations" (with Maggie Maggio;

-- the unbelievable and cutting-edge mica shift pieces by Dan Cormier ( Dan's work is jaw-dropping optical illusion work, as the pieces are smooth to the touch, but look like they have numerous dimensions; you can buy tools and tutorials at his website to recreate the effect yourself

Highly recommended book - borrow from the library, and you'll likely end up buying it like I did!
