With each newer CD they just get better and better, but they also became more and more centred on the lead singer to the point I am convinced she could launch a solo album and even career and leave the rest of the band behind and suffer minimal damage.
I LOVE THIS ALBM!!! it may be repetitive and a little weird at first because its rock/electro with lyrics that dont make much sense-itll grow on you like no other album has-its definately one of my favories of all time (im so excited for their new album-i heard a song on theradio!! thts crazy)
If you listen to an album so many times you don't know if there's anything else you've listened to that many times, you have to rate it high, even if you thought it wasn't your cup of tea on the first listen. Why does music grow on you?
A little light and fluffy at times, but there are some solid indy/electronica/rock songs on this album. Reminds me of good Phantogram songs.
If you like the sort of music where the chorus gets repeated 800 times in each song, you're be pleased.
Very Good :)
I ♥ Metric! I have a button that tells me so...
one of my favorite albums Love Metric. can't wait for another album to come out.
The first Metric album I've experienced, and was pleased to discover good lyrics, a haunting sound, and Emily Haines' beautiful voice. Every track is great - no fillers in this album!
Awesome, awesome, awesome. One fo the ebst things around in rock. They prove them self each time, offering both the danceable and the heart felt.

1.Help I'm Alive
5.Gold Guns Girls
Satellite Mind has the f-word a few times in the chorus; other than that this is a "clean" album.
"Come take my pulse, the pace is on a runaway train
Help, I'm alive, my heart keeps beating like a hammer"
