Shoot-out is about a kid called Jake who used to be on one of the greatest soccer teams in the league. Then his family moves and joins a new team. I did not finish this book yet so I don't know how it ends, but their team has lost their first games. - Shea, age 10

Jake loves soccer. His old team won the championship but now he moved and on a new soccer team. His new team isn't very good and he's the best player. He gets really frustrated when he always loses. He meets a kid on the soccer team who is really good but doesn't show it.When it comes near to the end of the season he finally breaks Kevin's shell. And when he plays his old team instead of Jake taking the winning p.k. shot he lets Kevin take the shot and win the game
