A haunting emotional story of a man, Justin Fisher, trying to bring together the remnant of his past through his fragmented memories. The lullaby his mother sang to him, for one example, stayed wtih him all his life.

Justin Fisher is a successful hotel manager with a young wife and small son. Living in London, England for so many years, he decided to move back to California with his family and try to reconnect with his estranged family or so he thought.

The story is told in different perspectives by Justin Fisher and his late parents. The father who felt betrayed by his wife, the mother who never forgave her husband, and Justin Fisher, the son who doesn't remember.

I just couldn't put this book down.
