A LIGHT read. Predictable characters, grammatical errors, embarassing attempts at literary depth, cliched turns of phrase, and a couple of painfully silly sex scenes. I experienced the humiliation of choosing this for my book club because of its inexplicable high rating. We salvaged the book club meeting by discussing the difference between a well-written book and a trashy novel.
