If you are an American who eats food, you need to watch this. Very eye opening. I am hoping things have changed since 2009, when this came out.

Get film for EArth day; to account what still needs to be worked on. Poor farmers are dictated by the Markets like Tyson, MC d, on what to grow even in light of jeopardizing their own health with the antibotics, expensive investment when the return is less than 18000 for 500k sheds, equipment.

How can we help the poor farmers & us from purchasing this food.

The sad thing is that this is just a continuation of globalization and all of the unexpected side effects that it has brought about. There is a high level of competition in everything and the bottom line is always profit. Not health.

The more I watch documentaries like this one, the less inclined I am to eat meat ever again.

This just makes me sad and sick. Animals deserve better and how anyone can eat after this is beyond me. It has changed my life and what , I will be buying for my family. I will find another way of buying my meat or raising it myself. Everyone NEEDS to see this !!! We the consumers have to stop this !! The treatment of our animals needs to be humane and this cruelty makes me angry..I will be telling everyone to see this and I'll be writing these companies it's wrong it's inhumane and it's why we are all getting sick !!!

Everyone should see this.
Now that energy is available from so many renewable sources,
Big Food may well be the next global monopoly.

everyone should buy organic, if not for your own health then for the improper treatment of the animals we eat everyday that are basically tortured for our own profit.

It's absolutely a must-see, must-see, and must-see film.
There are lots of truth hidden, veiled, manipulated, and distorted so far by a few powerful industries with politics, and it's time we must learn and notice those truth for our own life and for our children and for generations to come.
Those facts revealed in this film are scary, heartbreaking, fearful, and ominous, which is the very and more reasons we need to watch this film to realize the reality and so to change and fix them desperately ASAP for ourselves, our children and many generations to come.
I recommend it very highly in a heavy, terrified, pathetic and saddened heart.
