Definitely not for adults or teenagers (as the back cover says). The author has the characters make many unbelievably stupid decisions in order to move the plot along. You can usually ignore it when there are one or two instances, but this was well beyond that. It's a shame really. The idea for the story is a really good one and the action scenes aren't bad. Also, some of the gimmicks (scifi term for inventions) are really thoughtful. It may have a place for youngsters just getting into reading novels.
