"What happens to Alice when she comes back from Wonderland? Wendy from Neverland? Dorothy from Oz? The three meet here, at Cheshire Crossing -- a boarding school where girls like them learn how to cope with their supernatural experiences and harness their magical world-crossing powers. But the trio -- now teenagers, who've had their fill of meddling authority figures -- aren't content to sit still in a classroom. Soon they're dashing from one universe to the next, leaving havoc in their wake -- and, inadvertently, bringing the Wicked Witch and Hook together in a deadly supervillain love match. To stop them, the girls will have to draw on all of their powers... and marshal a team of unlikely allies from across the magical multiverse."--Provided by publisher.

From Library Staff

Worlds collide in this fun story of Dorothy, Wendy, and Alice as teenagers. They team up to harness their abilities to visit Oz, Neverland, and Wonderland to save the world from disasters they inadvertently set in motion. Suggested by Melleny T.

If you have read the (now very old) webcomics, you will be pleased to hear that while the story is the same, the art is so, so, so, so much better. Some of the dialog has been refreshed, too.

The ending is in about the same place as the webcomics ended, but with slightly more resolution. It's still not a finished story, though. But despite that, it's a fun story.

It's been made a little more "family friendly". There are still a few jokes and references that adults and teens will understand but kids won't; however, they are now a little more subtle. Mostly. (Alice, Dorothy, and Wendy are not children in this story.)

What happens after Alice left Wonderland? When Wendy returned from Neverland? When Dorothy clicked her heels to come home? What impact did their adventures have on their subsequent lives? Cheshire Crossing answers all of these questions with aplomb!

This is a delightful crossover of three well known stories. Andy Weir weaves a fascinating adventure with these three protagonists and the chaos they can inspire! A very fun read!
