The UK is in peril. Five days before the PM is to host her first G12 summit, MI7's security is breached and every agent in the field identified and exposed. The only hope of finding the perpetrator is to bring an agent out of retirement, but with most of them either dead or close to it, the head of MI7 is left with only one choice, and his name is English.

Rowan Atkinson is so homely, he's actually cute! The bungling private eye seems to always get his case! So funny! Now I will have to watch the other two movies in this series. Emma Thompson was funny, too!

I expected it to be funnier. Some parts are too serious for Mr. Bean.

Bean, James Bean. Buns appetite!

Part amusing, part hilarious, part stupid. But that's par for the course for Johnny English. This film completes the trilogy so enjoy it because it is all but certainly to be the last.

Rowan Atkinson stupid as ever, but there are quite a few parts that are quite funny. At least he got my mind off that ----- who's, running the country into the deepest pit. Like father, like son. I'm alright Jack.

Hilarious! This movie was way better than the second Johnny English movie. Two-thumbs up!

This is a silly, ridiculous movie but I laughed out loud many times and enjoyed it immensely. My teenage sons drifted in and watched it with me and we all enjoyed it together and that doesn't happen often. Rowan Atkinson's Johnny English is incredibly inept and is a terrible spy, but watching Rowan Atkinson bumble and fumble is a delight. The spy plot is silly and some things just don't make a lot of sense, but overall I thought it was a hoot.

A little inspector Gadget with a little pink panther and top it off with 007 and you have Johnny English. The actor with a BSc degree who played Mr. Bean all those years is Johnny English. I found this movie to be very witty and poked fun at the difference between the old generation compared to the young generation as well as with health and safety. If I was growing up I would have enjoyed having a teacher like Johnny English but you would have to watch the movie to understand this. To bad for the head master. Johnny English 2 is worth watching and in my opinion was better than the first one.

Pure silliness, although I did laugh til I cried during the VR scene.

I am great fan of Atkinson and Thompson, yet strongly advise the whole team to work ten times harder on the script, the comedy and action part, or rather not to make another one.

Some quotes in IMDb, not these at the beginning:

(From director's commentary at the start of the movie when Emma as PM first appears on screen:)
Emma Thompson, what a star. The only person, I think, who's won an Oscar for both writing and acting. She's an amazing, amazing actress, playing our Prime Minister. And don't we wish she was our Prime Minister.
===
First dialogue from film:
A cyberattack?
- Yes, Prime Minister.
Took me two bottles of wine and half a packet of sleeping pills to finally nod off.
- Ah, oh...
And you wake me because some fat-fingered hacker's pinched your PIN number?
===
But since we're dealing with a very sophisticated digital target, we might be less visible if we took a more analog, low-tech approach.
