"On The Art of Presence, Eckhart guides you through seven hours of transformational insights that allow "presence to naturally arise" in you. With his one-of-a-kind instruction, you will learn how to ground yourself in the vibrancy of your "inner body" while simultaneously breaking free from the illusion of separation from the outside world, how to connect to "the perceiver" of all your experiences to realize the wisdom of spiritual surrender, how to access the higher intelligence that empowers "right action," and much more" -- from publisher's web site.

Honestly, I was distracted by the cadence of the book. Maybe I will not know the silence of one's self, maybe I'm just looking for greater focus. I think the principals are coherent, simple, and ideal. Albeit I agree that it is an art as we are eternally hearing many songs at once, and this makes paying attention to my sense of presence is difficult.

Maybe I should focus on the few steps in front of me in the maelstrom of life and not worry about the silence. Maybe knowing ones fears, joys, strengths and weaknesses, an emontional intelligence might lead me to a higher degree of self and focus. So many things to do ....
