Another great Mignolaverse yarn. Edward Grey sets off to solve a mystery that has the recent and longtime dead rising from their graves. While initially assuming it's a run of the mill vampire or shambler (zombie) infestation, the signs don't quite match up to either. In order to get to the bottom of it, Grey will have to work with the nefarious organization he's vowed to take down: The Heliopic Brotherhood of Rah. All in all this was a pretty good read. If you've read the issues of Hellboy that take place a century later, you'll appreciate the foreshadowing. You also see a nearly direct tie in to the on-going Lord Baltimore series, which happens 30 years later. I really enjoyed the links in this story that show the continuing pattern of Mignolaverse heroes by era: Sir Grey, then Lord Baltimore, then Lobster Johnson, then Hellboy, then Johann Krauss and currently Liz Sherman and Abe Sapien.
