Brayden does a beautiful job with the pacing and snappiness of the dialogue in this book. How she shapes the journey of the two main characters through the process of grief, acceptance and new beginnings was nicely done.

Despite it starting with a broken-hearted, widowed lesbian, it was remarkably not depressing, which is a huge change from most lesbian fiction. I was laughing with them and crying a little, and I definitely couldn't wait to find out what happened next. I enjoyed it a great deal more than most adult lesbian novels. Can't wait to read others by this author!
