Well - Let me tell ya - After watching the music-videos that go along with this CD's songs - I'm now certain of at least one thing - And, that is - Louise Ciccone... (Oops!).... I mean "Madonna" sure knows how to play the cheap-looking, white-trash, bimbo/ho like it was her second nature, or something.
But, the problem is - That's the only persona that Louise... I mean, "Madonna" ever seems to play. And, believe me - It all sure does get mighty tiresome after a while watching this marginally-talented woman trying to out-vamp herself from her previous video performances.
Anyway - Out of True Blue's 11 easily-forgettable tracks - I found that only 2 (in a decidedly small way) appealed to me - And they were the title track (*Watch True Blue music-video*), and Papa Don't Preach.
P.S. - You know, after giving this CD a fair listen - I find it really quite baffling and downright laughable to imagine that 30 years ago people actually made of major fuss over the likes of this woman.
