The explosive new book from Dinesh D'Souza, author of the #1 New York Times bestsellers Hillary's America, America, and Obama's America. What is "the big lie" of the Democratic Party? That conservatives?and President Donald Trump in particular?are fascists. Nazis, even. In a typical comment, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says the Trump era is reminiscent of "what it was like when Hitler first became chancellor." But in fact, this audacious lie is a complete inversion of the truth. Yes, there is a fascist threat in America?but that threat is from the Left and the Democratic Party. The Democratic left has an ideology virtually identical with fascism and routinely borrows tactics of intimidation and political terror from the Nazi Brownshirts. To cover up their insidious fascist agenda, Democrats loudly accuse President Trump and other Republicans of being Nazis?an obvious lie, considering the GOP has been fighting the Democrats over slavery, genocide, racism and fascism from the beginning. Now, finally, Dinesh D'Souza explodes the Left's big lie. He expertly exonerates President Trump and his supporters, then uncovers the Democratic Left's long, cozy relationship with Nazism: how the racist and genocidal acts of early Democrats inspired Adolf Hitler's campaign of death; how fascist philosophers influenced the great 20th century lions of the American Left; and how today's anti-free speech, anti-capitalist, anti-religious liberty, pro-violence Democratic Party is a frightening simulacrum of the Nazi Party. Hitler coined the term "the big lie" to describe a lie that "the great masses of the people" will fall for precisely because of how bold and monstrous the lie is. In The Big Lie, D'Souza shows that the Democratic Left's orchestrated campaign to paint President Trump and conservatives as Nazis to cover up its own fascism is, in fact, the biggest lie of all.

The low reviews of this book come from individuals who fallaciously state that the author's arrest and conviction make the contents of this book untrue. The fact of the matter is that this book is well-sourced regarding the origins of fascism as a socialist movement and its parallels in modern progressive ideology. Additionally, one of the comments directed individuals to read about (paraphrasing), "Soros hatred reveals right-wing antisemitism," but, as it happens, George Soros, though Jewish, was a Nazi collaborator, and openly spoke of his collaboration in an interview on 60 Minutes that can be easily found on YouTube. To say that the right wing, which strongly supports Israel, is antisemitic is as ridiculous as saying factual contents of a book are untrue because the author has a criminal history.
To speak more on the book, rather than the poor reviews of the book, this work is well-sourced. It is historically and factually accurate, and easy to read. It makes information the progressive and liberal establishment have tried to hide available for any and all to read. To ignore this book is to risk allowing fascism to take power in America. A must read for any who care about their country, their family, and freedom.

Very worthwhile read. Well researched by a highly credentialed author and educator.
Wish everyone would read it. Most especially the brain dead minions on the left.

This book is itself a perfect example of the title: a big lie. If you believe the author, D'Souza, a convicted felon, you'll believe anything. Global warming isn't happening, it's a Chinese conspiracy... Anything. Instead of wasting your time on this book, google "Soros Slander Reveals Anti-Semitism at the Heart of the Far Right" Apparently, the next best thing to a Hitleresque big huuuge lie is the projection type lie - where you claim your enemy is the very thing you really are. The claim that liberals are fascists or nazis is ridiculously far out and just a way to draw attention away from the fact that big and important components of the author's party - so big that Trump felt he couldn't afford to disavow them - are fascists and nazis.

This is not a review on the content of the book. If the devil says that 2 plus 2 is four, does that make it false? Is the content true? That is the question. I can only imagine what the psychological treatment the author received was as well.

One question is whether the Nazis--the National Socialist Party--is left wing or right wing. Socialist equals left wing, huh? The Nazis were racial supremacists, not right wing, but left wing. Of course, the lie that is exposed is those who call themselves "anti fascist" are really fascist. What a way to hide their real identity.

On May 20, 2014, D'Souza pleaded guilty in federal court to one charge of using a "straw donor" to make an illegal campaign contribution to a 2012 United States Senate campaign. On September 23, he was sentenced to eight months in a halfway house near his home in San Diego, five years probation, and a $30,000 fine.

A Manhattan judge in July of 2015 ordered Dinesh D’Souza to continue four more years of community service, as well as psychological counseling.
