Hopelessly lovestruck, Sylvia (Davies) works her way onto the Hollywood set and into the life of Bill (Crosby). She lands the lead role in the film and the man of her dreams.

Enjoyable, interesting 1934 film which recapitulates/self references ('Going Hollywood') the show business transition from East Coast vaudeville/Broadway to West Coast/California film making after emergence of radio, etc.

Fun seeing Marion Davies for first time (that I remember). Lots of crews of great legged ladies, too.
